Black Label Trading Company is releasing the Viaticum in three sizes. Like it’s Last Rites series, the Viaticum has an Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper and a Honduran binder, with Honduran and Nicaraguan filler.
The box press Viaticum comes in a 5 x 54 Robusto ($15), a 6 x 48 Toto ($15.25) and a 6.75 x 40 Lancero ($15.50). All come in 20-count boxes.Â
Viaticum is produced at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua and was originally released in one vitola in 2019 to retailers who attended the PCA trade show. This is the second and full release made available to all Black Label retailers.
“Viaticum is an evolution of the Last Rites blend,” James Brown, creator of Black Label and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra, said in a statement. “It uses most of the same tobaccos but in different proportions and primings. It’s the perfect balance between strength and complexity.”
