The Macanudo Inspirado White line is hitting the market with two new sizes, a 5.5 x 42 Corona at $54.9 a stick and in boxes of 20, and a 4 3/16 x 32 Cigarillo in 10-cigar tins for $15.99.Â
The new cigars feature an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with Indonesian binder and fillers of Nicaraguan Condega and Jalapa, as well as Mexican San Andres leaves. The Corona is made at HATSA in Danli, Honduras and the Cigarillo is made at General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago, D.R.
The Inspirado White came to market in 2017 and represents one of the top-sellers in the Macanudo portfolio.
Steve Abbot, senior brand manager of Macanudo said in a statement, “The Macanudo Inspirado White portfolio had consisted of six popular sizes, yet our retailers and cigar smokers wanted more. We responded by creating a Corona and Cigarillo.”
