ProCigar has opened registration for its 19th annual festival, scheduled for Feb. 16-19, in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. The event will include factory and tobacco-field tours, cigar tastings, dinners, educational sessions, live entertainment, and a charity-auction gala.
The festival’s schedule includes visits to member-company factories and tobacco fields, including facilities associated with Tabacalera Palma, General Cigar, De Los Reyes Cigars, La Flor Dominicana, La Aurora, Arturo Fuente, Casa Carrillo, Quesada and PDR Cigars.
“More than a cigar festival is an invitation to celebrate the Dominican Republic through its greatest ambassador: its premium cigars,” ProCigar said in a press release. “From tobacco fields and legendary factories to meaningful conversations with the people behind the industry’s most iconic brands, every moment has a story at ProCigar Festival.”
