Macanudo is adding two cigars to its core portfolio with Macanudo Ecuadorian Shade and Macanudo Sumatra. The releases are built from the same blend and distinguished by their wrappers.
Macanudo Ecuadorian Shade uses an Ecuadorian Shade wrapper, while Macanudo Sumatra is wrapped in Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf. Both cigars feature Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers with a U.S. Broadleaf binder.
โMacanudo has always been about bringing people together through a consistently smooth, approachable experience,โ Matt Wilson, senior brand manager for Macanudo, said in a press release. โWith Ecuadorian Shade and Sumatra, weโre building on that legacy by giving smokers two distinct ways to experience the brand โ making it easier to find the right cigar for the moment.โ
The cigars are available in 5 x 50 Robusto, 6 x 50 Toro, and 6 x 60 Gigante.
It ships in late April.
