Artesano Del Tobacco is launching the El Pulpo Lancero, nicknamed The Eel, as the latest addition to the El Pulpo cigar line. The 7 x 38 pigtail ($16.50) features a San Andres Maduro wrapper paired with Nicaraguan binder and filler. It is produced at AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua and ships Feb. 18.
In a statement, the brand said “Based on the overwhelming support and high ratings of the El Pulpo blend, we reached out to our fans for their input on what size they would like next. The majority expressed their desire for a Lancero that showcases the beauty of our San Andres Maduro wrapper.”
