Macanudo is set to re-release its Inspirado Brazilian Shade collection, initially launched in 2021. This limited-edition line showcases a Brazilian wrapper paired with a proprietary Cuban seed filler.
Steve Abbot, Macanudo’s director of marketing, noted, “To create Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade, we made a significant investment in agronomy that spans Central and South America. This blend speaks to our commitment to bringing unique smoking experiences to premium cigar smokers.”
The cigars feature a Connecticut Shade wrapper grown in Brazil’s Bahia region. It has a Mexican San Andres binder and a blend of “Dominican Cubita,” a proprietary sun-grown tobacco from Mao, Dominican Republic, alongside Brazilian tobacco, Dominican Piloto Cubano, and Nicaraguan Jalapa.
Handcrafted at the General Cigar Dominicana factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade will be available in late June in two sizes: Toro (6.5” x 52) priced at $10.99 per cigar, and Churchill (7” x 48) priced at $11.99 per cigar. The cigars will be presented in ten-count boxes that pay homage to the Brazilian flag.
