Gurkha Cigar Group is teaming up with former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson for the Tyson 2.0 Undisputed, a collaboration between Gurkha Cigars and LGNDS, a Miami-based hemp company.
The Tyson 2.0 Undisputed line includes the Maduro ($19), which is encased in a black top box, and Habano ($19.90), which is encased in a gold metallic box. Blends are fully disclosed but the Maduro features a San Andres wrapper.
The new project will debut at the PCA 2024 in Las Vegas March 22-25 and Gurkha hints at an appearance by Tyson at the show.
“Our collaboration with Mike Tyson and his teams at LGNDS and Carma HoldCo is a very unique one,” Jim Colucci, president of Gurkha, said in a press release. ” We believe we’ve chosen the perfect blends together to represent the Tyson 2.0 brand. What’s even better is that we can expect to see Mike Tyson make an appearance at the trade show.”
In the same press release, Sozon Lyras of LGNDS said, “We are equally as excited about the collaboration with Gurkha Cigar Group. We look forward to launching this amongst many other future projects together under the Tyson 2.0 brand.” Tyson also has put his name on a smoking accessories line from Futurola X, which includes rolling papers and rolling trays. He also has his own cannabis company, Tyson 2.0.
