For the first time in two years, La Aurora will be increasing its prices by five percent across its portfolio of products, due to the rising costs of production. The increase is effective April 1.
“Since 1903, my family has worked hard to set the standard for craftsmanship in the world of premium cigars,” Guillermo León, president of La Aurora, said in a press release. “And retailers and customers have rewarded us for this consistency in our products over the years. As we work to provide those retailers and customers reasonably priced products priced at many tiers, it has become necessary this year to take an increase in pricing to maintain this quality and consistency.”
