La Aurora announces the La Aurora 120 Anniversary Limited Edition in celebration of its 120th Anniversary. La Aurora 120 LE ($40) features a Habano 92-seed leaf wrapper, Dominican binder, and Dominican Republic filler blend that includes Piloto Cubano, Olor Dominicano, Corojo tobaccos.
It is expected to ship in late fall, with 2,500, 10-count boxes produced.
“This unique edition is a tribute to the very first Preferidos cigars in 1903, with replicas of the original tubes encapsulating a new, meticulously crafted blend,” Guillermo León, president of La Aurora, said in a press release. “The design features a perfecto or double figurado shape, similar to what was created 120 years ago, and today is our most premium offering known by many from the colored tubos that encase the cigars…”
