Black Label Trading Company is shipping Bishops Blend Novemdiales to select retailers. Novemdiales comes in a 4.5 x 46 Petite Corona ($10.50), a 6 x 48 Toro ($12) and a 5 x 50 Robusto ($11). It features a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper over Ecuador Habano binder and Connecticut, Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania broadleaf filler.
Novemdiales is produced at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua. It is a revised iteration of the original Bishops Blend, by using a Pennsylvania wrapper with other slight revisions.Â
“Bishops Blend has been one of our most popular and sought-after releases,” James Brown, creator of Black Label and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra, said in a press release. “This year, to help celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Black Label Trading Co., we felt compelled to create a special edition. The Bishops Blend Novemdiales is an amped-up version of the traditional Bishop. We tweaked the blend a bit and went with a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper instead of the traditional Ecuador Habano Maduro. The Novemdiales will be available in vitolas not seen before in the Bishops Blend lineage.”
