Diesel Launches New Sunday Gravy Expression

The new addition to Diesel‘s Sunday Gravy line is the Diesel Sunday Gravy Grappa, a cigar named for the Italian-made digestivo made from a distillate of grape seeds, stalks and stems.

Blended by AJ Fernandez and Justin Andrews and produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Esteli, Nicaragua, Diesel Sunday Gravy Grappa is rolled with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Honduran filler.

It comes in a 5 x 56 Robusto Gordo ($4.99) and will be released starting in July.

“Diesel Sunday Gravy Grappa, like our previous Sunday Gravy expressions, definitely packs a punch,” Andrews, new business development manager at Scandinavian Tobacco Group, which produces Diesel, said in a press release. “It’s a great, medium-plus blend, handmade with premium tobaccos. And given its affordable price, Diesel Sunday Gravy Grappa is a cigar that’s meant to be smoked with good friends during spirited discussions.”

Diesel Sunday Gravy launched in August 2021 as a full-time line of seasonally-released smokes, blended through Diesel’s partnership of AJ Fernandez and Justin Andrews. Blends are released quarterly and sold until their limited supply is depleted.
