United Cigars this month is shipping the La Mezcla Cubana Rothschild a 4.5 x 54 mild-to-medium stick with an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, Indonesian binder and Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Pennsylvanian leaves as filler along with a proprietary blend by Magia Cubana.
The La Mezcla Cubana line was first released in 2006. It is produced at the Magia Cubana Factory in Gurabo, Dominican Republic. The relaunch comes after the discovery of seven-year-old Ecuadorian wrapper leaf from A.S.P. Enterprises, a family-owned tobacco farm in Ecuador.
La Mezcla Cubana Rothschild is shipping in 50-count boxes and goes for $5.99 per and $299.99 a box.
“My morning commutes have become much more agreeable,” Oliver Nivaud, director of operations at United Cigars, said in a press release. “This blend works well with the aged wrapper, a perfect distraction to the day at an inflation- resistant price.”
