The cigar smokers of Belgium and Luxembourg are way ahead of Steve Saka, founder of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust. They want what Saka is selling, and they want it now.
Saka launched the brand in 2015 and has several lines in his portfolio, but “I certainly did not think our cigars would be in demand globally so soon,” he said in a statement announcing that DTT had struck a distribution agreement with Media Rueda, which handles the two countries.
“It is personally satisfying to know that cigar smokers in Belgium and Luxembourg are interested in my portfolio of ligas,” Saka added.
Distribution will start with some of DTT’s key brands, including the Sobremesa, Mi Querida and Sin Compromiso.
“We are convinced they will be a big success and local cigar lovers looking for a smoking experience ‘without compromise’ will quickly learn to appreciate Steve’s products,” David Larou, partner at Media Rueda, said in a press release. “We plan on extending our selection from DTT’s portfolio later this year.”
