Humidor-maker/icon Daniel Marshall has created a series of 10 humidors crafted from antique tobacco stakes in partnership with Corona Cigar Co. President Jeff Borysiewicz.
Each of the limited edition humidors are the centerpiece of a package that also includes a box of Florida Sun Grown Cigars, a bottle of Eagle Rare Corona Single Barrel Kentucky Bourbon, Cigar Rest Corona Cigar Glencairn Whisky glasses, a ticket to the 2021 Barn Smoker, a package of swanky FSG swag, including an ashtray, table top lighter and cutter, and a signed copy of Marshall’s new book, 38 Years, which chronicles his life as an artist in photos and essays.
Each of the humidors is unique, with variations of colors and individual textures of the antique wooden stakes. The stakes were once used to hang cigar tobacco in curing barns in Connecticut and at Borysiewicz’s Florida Sun Grown tobacco farm in Clermont, Florida. The wood used has taken on oils from the tobacco as well as the weather of Connecticut and Florida, marking history over the past five decades. Marshall personally selected each stake and decided the pattern that each of the humidors display.
The packages sell for $1,900 through Corona Cigar.
