La Aurora has announced that two new cigars are now available at retailers. Those cigars are the La Aurora 1962 Corojo and the La Aurora 1987 Connecticut. Each blend is named for the year in which the Dominican cigar maker (which has been in business for 113 years) began working with that cigar’s respective wrapper tobacco.

La Aurora 1962 features a Dominican corojo wrapper, Ecuadorian binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. La Aurora 1987 features a Connecticut shade wrapper, Dominican binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

Both cigars are being made available in 20-count boxes of one of four vitolas: Robusto (5 x 50), Churchill (7 x 50), Toro (5 1/2 x 54) and Gran Toro (6 x 58). Their retail price is set from $5.50 to $6.00, depending on format.
