Serious cigar talk with Jeff Borysiewicz of Corona Cigar Company

The September/October 2013 issue of Cigar Snob included a piece titled “Shame on you: driving the herf into the shadows.” In that piece, we explored ways that government intervention in the marketplace threatens the uniquely American cigar shop culture — and what tobacconists and consumers are doing about it.

While putting that piece together, I sat with Corona Cigar Company owner Jeff Borysiewicz to talk about his own experiences dealing with government overreach, as well as his perspective on Cigar Rights of America, the role of mass-market manufacturers, and other things.
