Plasencia Cigars has appointed Rodrigo Medina Mendieta as its first global brand ambassador.
Mendieta, who has worked with Plasencia for nearly 11 years, has helped expand the company’s presence in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and other international markets. In the new role, he will represent the brand worldwide and work with retailers, distributors, media, and consumers.
“Rodrigo has been an important part of Plasencia’s journey for more than a decade,” Ed Bello, chief executive officer of Plasencia Cigars, said in a press release. “His understanding of international markets and his connection to our heritage make him well-suited for this role.”
