Altadis U.S.A. announces Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro, a new expression that builds on the original anniversary release.
The Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary reunites the brand with Christian Eiroa, who developed the original Saint Luis Rey blend in 1996.
Produced in Honduras, the Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro features an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper over a Honduran Corojo binder and a blend of Pinareño (Colombian) and Corojo (Honduran) filler tobaccos. In four sizes, the price ranges from $12 to $13.50.
“The Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro represents the continuation of a chapter we began in 1996 but never had the opportunity to bring to market,” Eiroa said in a press release. “As we continue to celebrate this milestone anniversary, we’re proud to be able to build on the legacy of the original collaboration. With the Maduro, we wanted to preserve the distinctive foundation of the original blend while delivering a richer, more intense expression that remains true to the character of Saint Luis Rey. It’s a natural evolution of the story we started together.”
The Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro will be available only through brick-and-mortar retailers with shipments scheduled to begin by the 2027 PCA trade show.
