Casa Carrillo announces Battleborn Heroes ($21), a 6 x 52 cigar featuring an African Cameroon wrapper, Dominican and Nicaraguan binders, and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.
Battleborn Heroes will make its first retail appearance at launch events hosted by Old Virginia Tobacco in Kingstowne, Va., on Oct. 22 and Woodbridge, Va., on Oct. 23. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo will attend both events.
The company plans to begin shipping the cigar to retailers before Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Each box includes a collectible Battleborn logo dog tag.
“Battleborn is about honoring the people who show up when others need them most,” Ernesto Perez-Carrillo III said in a press release. “Whether you serve in the military, protect your community as a police officer or firefighter, or respond when someone is having the worst day of their life, that commitment deserves our respect. Bringing Battleborn back for a second year gives us another opportunity to recognize those individuals and show our appreciation for everything they do.”
