Glenn Wolfson, chief executive officer of Drew Estate, died June 29
Wolfson became CEO of Drew Estate in 2016 after a 34-year career in management consulting. He oversaw an operational overhaul and expansion of the company, with a focus on serving retailers and consumers and supporting the premium cigar industry, while keeping the company aligned with its mission and culture.
The company, in a press release, described Wolfson as a “transformational leader” and “trusted partner” who pushed the team to “think bigger, lead with discipline” and “build this company to last.”
Drew Estate founder and President Jonathan Drew said in a press release that “ Wolfson confidently and passionately planted his roots at Drew Estate … and like a hearty oak tree had a disproportionately large impact on our unique ecosystem, culture, and community.”
The company’s executive team will continue to lead the company until a new CEO is named.
