X at One Ocean, a private members-only club, will open in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood. The club is located on the ground level of the One Ocean condominium building.
The club uses the “X” designation with permission from Arturo Fuente, maker of the Fuente Fuente OpusX cigar.
“In our world, the ‘X’ stands for something rare — something that must be earned,” Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. said in a press release. “When I experienced X at One Ocean, I saw a level of respect for cigar tradition combined with a forward-thinking vision that is truly unique.”
The club’s humidor program will be curated by Fuente. It was conceived by entrepreneur Linden Nelson and features a private outdoor patio that can accommodate up to 170 people.
Inside, the club has seating for 54 members. Members will have access to a curated calendar of private events and tastings, both at the club and at locations around the world.
