Hooten Young has secured a patent to protect the design of the company’s cigar shape, The Cartridge. The design is featured in the Ma Deuce Cigar Selection, a premium cigar created to honor the American military.
The 6 ½ x 60 features an Ecuadorian Habano over Mexican San Andrés wrapper with Nicaraguan filler and binder.
The cigar is named as a tribute to the Browning M2 .50 caliber machine gun.
“This is a meaningful milestone for Hooten Young,” Norman Hooten, co-founder of Hooten Young, said in a press release. “Premium cigars are about more than tobacco alone. They are about experience, memory, and connection. The Cartridge™ gives us a patented cigar presentation that speaks directly to our brand, our heritage, and the people who understand the meaning behind the Ma Deuce.”
