The Association of Dominican Cigar Manufacturers, ProCigar, has appointed Ciro Cascella as president for the 2026– 2028 term.
“I feel truly honored by this designation,” Cascella said in a press release. “I deeply appreciate the trust placed in me, and I commit to continuing to strengthen and elevate this industry that fills us with pride and passion, and that generates a significant impact on the socioeconomic development of our country.”
Also appointed to the board are Litto Gómez as vice president, Guillermo León as second vice president, Hamlet Espinal as secretary, and Yuri Guillén as treasurer.
The Board is further completed by its members-at-large: Hendrik Kelner, as president ad vitam, Ricardo Nieto, Raquel Quesada, Ernesto Pérez-Carrillo, Nirka Reyes, José Blanco, Thomas Strickrock, and Abraham Flores.
