Macanudo is expanding its M by Macanudo series with M by Macanudo Myers’s Rum, an infused release created in collaboration with the Jamaican rum brand. The partnership highlights both companies’ shared roots in Jamaica, where early Macanudo cigars were produced, and Myers’s Rum built its reputation.
The cigar ($9.89) pairs an Indonesian wrapper with a Dominican binder and fillers. It is the seventh entry in the M by Macanudo lineup.
“Myers’s Rum is one of the most recognizable names associated with Jamaica, and its rich flavor profile made it a natural inspiration for this release,” Matt Wilson, senior brand manager for Macanudo, said in a press release. “With M by Macanudo Myers’s Rum, we wanted to create a cigar that celebrates the shared heritage of both brands while delivering a smooth and flavorful smoking experience.”
It is available in a 5 x 50 Robusto and produced at General Cigar Dominicana.
It ships in late April.
