Kelner Cigars announces the release of Kelner LE 80 to celebrate the 80th birthday of industry titan Henke Kelner. The 7 x 50 Kelner LE 80 ($57) features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and comes in 10-count boxes. It was blended by Klaas Kelner at his Santiago factory as a tribute to his father.
“Creating this cigar for my father was deeply personal,” Klaas Kelner, CEO of Kelner Cigars, said in a press release. “Every aspect of the Kelner LE 80 reflects my father’s unwavering commitment to excellence and his profound influence on Dominican cigar making. We selected only the most exceptional tobaccos to create a blend that honors his sophisticated palate and celebrates his remarkable journey in this industry.”
Henke Kelner, reflecting on this tribute, added, “Working together with my son to create this special cigar for my 80th birthday fills me with immense pride. The cigar will be available later this year.
