Altadis U.S.A. announces the Aging Room Blue Amber, produced in collaboration with AJ Fernandez. Marking the 15th anniversary of the Aging Room brand, the blend features a Nicaraguan wrapper, Dominican binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The tobacco is grown near the Cordillera Septentrional mountains, the source of blue amber gemstones.
“Blue Amberx is a cigar born from the same land that gives life to the rare gemstone it’s named after,” Rafael Nodal, owner of Aging Room and vice president of product capability at Tabacalera U.S.A., said in a press release. “The tobaccos used in this blend come from fields nestled in the Cordillera Septentrional mountain range near Las Cumbres—just steps away from where the blue amber stone is found. For me, Blue Amber is both a tribute to the land and a celebration of 15 years of passion and artistry that define the Aging Room legacy.”
The cigars are offered in four box-pressed vitolas, each presented in a deep blue collector humidor. Prices range from $40 to $43 per cigar.
Altadis is also releasing a limited edition Dennison watch featuring a blue amber stone dial, with a retail price of $1,000.
