Cohiba is back with a new expression of its Weller by Cohiba line, featuring a Broadleaf binder aged in the same barrels as Weller Full Proof bourbon.
It is the fourth cigar in the Weller by Cohiba lineup and the first to feature tobacco aged in the barrels. The 6 x 50 Toro ($29.99) also features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and a filler blend of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
Weller by Cohiba 2024 comes in boxes with ten blue and gold tubos styled after the Weller Full Proof packaging. The cigar will ship to retailers at the end of September.
“Weller by Cohiba has become a staple in the Cohiba lineup and a great example of how the craftsmanship behind cigars and bourbon mirror one another,” Sean Williams, brand ambassador for Cohiba, said in a press release. “Going on this journey with a partner as esteemed as Weller Bourbon is a proud moment for Cohiba.”
