CAO announces the Thunder Smoke, the third addition to its Arcana lineup.
It is the brand’s first cigar to feature tobacco from South Africa and Zimbabwe, alongside tobacco from Cameroon. It will ship in September.
The 6 x 52 Toro Grande ($12.99) features a Honduran Olancho San Agustin wrapper with filler grown in Zimbabwe, grown in the Limpopo River Basin in the shadows of the Victoria Falls. The tobacco is part of a five-country blend, highlighted by the all-African filler.
“ Our mantra, ‘We Go Where The Tobacco Takes Us,’ has guided us to innovate and redefine the industry standard,” Ed Lahmann, senior brand manager for CAO said in a press release. “This release is not just a milestone for CAO, but a bold leap forward for the entire cigar world.”
