Plasencia 1865 announces the release of the Alma del Fuego Ometepe Edición Limitada. The single-sized 6x 54 Torpedo ($100) features a wrapper made with tobacco from Ometepe, named Hoja del Fuego by the Plasencia family.
“Since 1865, we have nurtured and cultivated tobacco, and at last, we have successfully grown a wrapper of unparalleled beauty in Ometepe, Nicaragua,” Néstor Andres Plasencia, fifth generation of the Plasencia family and board member, said in a press release. “The island of Ometepe is of great significance to our family as it has been to the Indigenous peoples of this region. We celebrate this achievement with the Plasencia Alma del Fuego Ometepe Edición Limitada.”
It comes in 20-count boxes.
