Club Macanudo next week unveils a new cigar lounge in Taipei, Taiwan. The Club Macanudo Taipei, which opens on February 27, is located in Xinyi, the city’s prosperous central business district.
The space relies on an achromatic palette and subtle luminosity expressed through leather, marble, and gold to bring the Club Macanudo experience to life. The Club consists of a smoking lounge and bar, retail space, and an al fresco smoking lounge with views of Taipei.
Club Macanudo Taipei’s retail selection has been curated to feature a collection of Macanudo cigars along with a selection of Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s most popular brands including CAO, Silencio, and Alec Bradley.
“As the Macanudo brand continues to grow globally, particularly in Asia, Club Macanudo Taipei represents our ongoing commitment to providing consumers with occasions for indulging in handmade cigars,” Régis Broersma, president of General Cigar and senior vice president of Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s North America Branded and Rest of World Division, said in a press release. “This location was developed to blend seamlessly into the fabric of Taipei, offering a stylish and welcoming haven for the region’s cigar smokers and those who visit this world-class city. We believe that Club Macanudo Taipei sets the stage perfectly for the continued expansion of Club Macanudo, both in Asia and beyond.”
Club Macanudo has locations in New York City, Bossier City, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei, while Scandinavian Tobacco Group in Copenhagen operates Cigar Shop Macanudo, a Macanudo-branded, retail shop and cigar lounge.
