Club Macanudo has opened Club Macanudo Bossier City, in Louisiana, developed in partnership with Margaritaville Resort Casino and Southern Smoke Cigar Company.
The club offers a curated selection of premiums led by Macanudo cigars, including classics, limited editions, and global best-sellers such as Café and Inspirado. The lounge also offers a selection of Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s top sellers including Cohiba, Punch, CAO, La Gloria Cubana, Partagas, and Alec Bradley.
Club Macanudo Bossier City features leather seating, burlwood tables, and club chairs with intimate nooks for conversation while an al fresco lounge offers panoramic views of the resort. At the heart of the lounge is a glass-enclosed humidor and a peninsula-shaped bar stocked with an array of wine and spirits.
“The opening of Club Macanudo Bossier City marks a significant step in the expansion of our premium cigar lounge platform,” Chris Tarr, vice president of marketing for Scandinavian Tobacco Group which owns Club Macanudo and the Macanudo brand, said in a press release. “With this strategic addition to the growing Club Macanudo collection, we have aligned our brand with the resort-casino occasion, delivering a new touchpoint for cigar smokers to indulge in their passion for handmade cigars.”
Club Macanudo’s flagship location in New York City opened in 1996 and is the oldest, continuously operating cigar bar, restaurant, and lounge in the U.S. A second Club Macanudo location debuted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2022.
