La Gloria Cubana is shipping the La Gloria Cubana Society Cigar II, a 6 x 50 Toro ($12.99) featuring a Honduran Habano wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and filler from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
The expression is named after a group of cigar smokers called the “La Gloria Cubana Society” who frequently interact with the brand online through the LGC website and offline at La Gloria activations across the U.S.
The La Gloria Cubana Society Cigar II was developed with input from society members who consulted on the blend profile, packaging, and size of the cigar in a process that spanned nearly a year.
“For this, our second ‘Society Cigar,’ we have created a smoking experience that reflects the collective preferences of La Gloria Cubana fans,” Cory Beardsley, assistant brand manager for La Gloria Cubana, said in a press release. “This special release speaks to what this elite group of smokers currently looks for in a cigar, and we’re proud to bring it to life for them.”
