Rick Rodriguez and Luciano Meirelles have joined forces on The Maker, a 5.25 x 54 cigar featuring a Broadleaf Ecuadorian Hybrid wrapper, Brazilian Matafina and Nicaraguan Chincagre binders, and filler from Brazil, Pueblo Nuevo, Jalapa, and Mexican San Andrés.
The Maker is exclusively available at FatAsh Cigar in 10-count boxes with 200 boxes available.
The collaboration between Rodriguez, co-founder of West Tampa Tobacco, and Meirelles of Luciano Cigars began when Rodriguez, attracted by the variety of rare and hard-to-find tobaccos stocked by Luciano, proposed a joint project.Â
The work took two months to complete, with the final product being released during this year’s Old Kentucky Herf event, a regional trade show.
