West Tampa Tobacco Co. has hired 20-year cigar industry veteran Rami Dakko as director of North American sales.
Rami began his career in retail, developing a knowledge for the premium cigar industry. He is formerly a territory sales manager for General Cigar.
In his new role, Rami will be based in Philadelphia and will cover West Tampa’s north american expansion as well as management of several strategic national accounts.
“To support our explosive growth in the US and around the world we knew we needed to build a team of high energy, passionate people,” Rick Rodriguez, co-owner of West Tampa Tobacco Company, said in a statement. ” Rami checks all the boxes we have built West Tampa upon, Trust, Respect and Friendship. Rami has been someone that I have been proud to call a friend as well as someone whom I respect immensely. I have no doubt that Rami will take West Tampa to the next level in the US.”
Founded in 2022, West Tampa Tobacco Company produces, markets and distributes premium cigars around the world.
