Luciano Cigars is moving its Maria Lucia cigar into a full core line, which will ship in July.
The Maria Lucia box-pressed line includes the 5.25 x 54 Magnum ($12.96), the 5 ⅞ x 52 Cañonazo ($12.80), the 6.5 x 50 Double Robusto ($12.50) and the 5 ⅝ x 46 Corona Gorda ($11.50). The cigars come in 24-count boxes.
The line was introduced to honor Luciano Meirelles’ late mother and has become the brand’s best-selling single SKU.
The Maria Lucia features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, two Ecuadorian binders, one grown from Sumatra seed, the other Havana ’92), and a blend of fillers sourced from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Peru.
To celebrate the expansion of the Maria Lucia line, Luciano Cigars will exhibit the original artwork of Maria Lucia at PCA 2023 in Las Vegas July 7-11.
“It’s been overwhelming to see how much this cigar has started to mean to people,” Luciano Meirelles, son of Maria Lucia and co-founder of Luciano Cigars, said in a press release. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to honor my mother, to let her legacy grow and her story be known through this cigar.”
