Hooten Young will launch two fresh SKUs for presale at PCA 2023 in Las Vegas, July 7-11.
The Operator is a 6.5 x 54 Royal Toro ($25) featuring an African Cameroon wrapper over Ecuadorian Habano binder and undisclosed filler. The Operation Neptune Spear is a 6 x 50 Toro ($15) with a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, Ecuadorian Habano binder and Nicaraguan filler. Both come in 10-count boxes. The Operator will ship August 5 and Operation Neptune Spear on September 1. Hooten Young pre-release parties for the new offerings will take place August 5 at Cigar City in Lakeland, Florida and Creekside Cigar Lounge in Belton, Texas.
Hooten Young was started in 2018 by Tim Young and retired Special Mission Unit Master Sergeant, Norm Hooten.
Hooten was part of the Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia, and was portrayed by actor Eric Bana in the 2013 movie, Black Hawk Down, an account of the battle based on the 1999 book by Mark Bowden.
