Luciano Cigars and Dalay Zigarren have struck a deal for distribution of Dalay products by Luciano in the United States. The companies will christen the agreement with two new cigars at PCA 2023, which takes place in Las Vegas July 7-11.
The Dalay Istanbul will debut in the American market as a PCA exclusive, available to order only for show attendees in boxes of 10. It comes in a 4.5 x 46 Principe ($17), a 5 x 50 Robusto ($18) and a 5.5 x 54 Toro ($20).
The Istanbul pays homage to Salih Dalay’s Turkish heritage featuring Turkish tobacco as part of the blend and ring art created by Turkish artist, Hasan Kale, known as “Turkish Microangelo,” for his expertise of the miniature art craft. .
The Dalay Nicaragua comes in a 5.5 x 46 Corona Gorda ($10.50), a 5 x 50 Robusto ($11.50), a 6 x 52 Toro ($12.50) and a 6.5 x 56 Gran Toro ($13.30). The Dalay Nicaragua features a Corojo 98 Ecuadorian wrapper, a double binder with Brazilian Arapiraca and Ecuadorian Habano 2000, and Nicaraguan fillers from Pueblo Nuevo, Jalapa, Esteli and Massatepe. It comes in 20-count boxes.
In addition to the Dalay Nicaragua and Dalay Istanbul, Luciano Cigars and Dalay Zigarren expect to introduce the full range of Dalay Zigarren’s classic lines to the U.S. by the end of the year.
Both the Istanbul and the Nicaragua are scheduled to ship by the end of July.
