Chillin’ Moose and its sidekick Bull Moose will soon welcome a Connecticut cousin called Shady Moose, a new line of cigars made with an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper, a first for the Chillin’ Moose franchise.
Shipping to retailers on March 1, Shady Moose will launch as a full-time line with three new sizes, including a 6 x 52 Toro ( $4.99) for the Chillin’ Moose trio. The Shady Moose will also come in a 5.5 x 50 Robusto ($4.79) and a 6 x 60 Gigante ($5.49).
The cigars will be packed in boxes of 20 cigars.
Produced in Honduras at the HATSA factory, Shady Moose is a six-country blend wrapped in Ecuadorian Connecticut, with a Mexican binder and a selection of long filler tobacco from the US, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
“With Shady Moose, we built a great, anytime, anywhere blend that takes the smooth-smoking properties of a Connecticut Shade cigar and amps it up with the right amount of complexity and spice,” said John Hakim, brand manager of Chillin’ Moose, said in a press release.”
Shady Moose cigars will be distributed by Forged Cigar Company.
