Foundation Cigar Company announces the Highclere Castle Senetjer, a limited edition perfecto commemorating the 100th anniversary of the unearthing of the tomb of Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun.
The 6.75 x 52 ($33) is composed of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with Brazilian Mata Fina binder and undisclosed fillers.
The discovery of King Tut’s tomb was funded by the great-grandfather of Lord Carnarvon George Herbert.
Foundation owner Nicholas Melillo teamed up with the Herbert family to create the cigar, which comes in a decorative 12-count box, inscribed with hieroglyphics, designed to replicate one found in the tomb.
“I have been in love with the culture and history of Egypt since I was a little boy,” Melillo said in a press release. “This product is truly something unique and special.”
Senetjer will ship West Coast to East Coast, with the first fulfillment of product landing for everyone by the end of this month. A subsequent fulfillment of orders will happen at the start of December, in advance of the holiday season.
