Echelon Cigar Company has added The Morning Star to its lineup. The branded line comes in a 5 x 50 Robusto, a 6 x 50 Toro, a 6 x 60 Gordo, a 4 x 60 Short Gordo and a 7 x 38 Lancero and features tobacco from all four major growing regions of Nicaragua.
The Morning Star line is rolled and packaged by Blanco Cigars at the Plasencia factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Morning Star is sold as boxes, five and ten packs (depending on vitola) and as singles. Sampler packs are also available.
The Morning Star’s name and branding is a tribute to the indigenous Northern Cheyenne Tribe of Montana – the tribe of Echelon’s VP and Co-Owner Kat Meadnis.
“We are honored and thankful to work with David Blanco and Blanco Cigars to make this cigar happen,” Nolan Meadnis, president of Echelon Cigars Company, said in a press release. “This is a cigar we are proud to stand behind and we know it will turn a lot of heads.”
The Morning Star is currently available through the Echelon website only. Distribution to retailers is expected to be available early next year.
