Red Anchor Admiral Cigars Ship To Retailers

Red Anchor

United Cigar will ship the Red Anchor Admiral to U.S. retailers next week, relaunching what the brand says was the original boutique cigar back in the 1770s. In doing so, “Every aspect of Red Anchor has been carefully crafted to properly encapsulate the 250-year history,” Oliver Nivaud, director of operations for United Cigars, said in a press release.

The Red Anchor Admiral features an Ecuadorian habano 2000 wrapper,  Dominican Monte Plata binder and Dominican San Vicente, Pennsylvania Broadleaf  and habano 92 filler.

It comes in a single size 6 x 52 at $25 per and $625 for a 25-count box. It was produced at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.

“I am very honored and proud that our cigar factory was given the opportunity to relaunch this historical  brand,” KBF Owner Hendrik Kelner Jr. said in a press release “We made a blend using some of our best family farmed tobaccos,  this was a personal cigar project, I wanted to involve the family as much as possible.”
