Plasencia Cigars‘ Plasencia Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro is now available in a Toro box-pressed 6.25 x 54 and the company will take pre-orders at the Premium Cigar Association trade show in Las Vegas July 8-12 for shipping in September.
The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Eduardo I comes in a 10-count box with a retail price of $20.60.
The cigar is named for Eduardo Plasencia, who moved from the Canary Islands to Cuba in 1865 and began growing tobacco, launching the Plasencia legacy, now in its fifth generation.
“It is important for us to continue to acknowledge our family history and use them as inspiration as we go forward,” Plasencia Cigars CEO Nestor Andres Plasencia said in a press release. “Eduardo Plasencia took a major risk by crossing the Atlantic Ocean to start farming tobacco in a faraway land. Without him, there would be no Plasencia tobacco family.”
