Macanudo Gold Label is making its annual return in May, marking  the brand’s 20th anniversary with a new size.

Macanudo Gold Label will ship to retailers starting May 1 with eight front marks available, including the Gold Label Gran Pyramid, a new edition created exclusively for this season.

These are the offerings: 

In 25-count boxes, the Hampton Court Tubo, 5.5 x 42 ($10.79), the Lord Nelson, 7 x 49 ($11.29), the Tudor, 6 x 52 ($10.99), the Duke of York, 5.25 x 54 ($10.49) the Gold Pyramid 5 x 54 ($10.49) and the Shakespeare, 6.5 x 45 ($10.29). The 5.5 x 50 Crystal ($11.29) comes in an 8-count box and the 6 x 52 Gran Pyramid ($11.29) comes in a 24-count box.

Macanudo Gold Label cigars are named for the brand’s gold-hued wrapper leaves harvested from the first and second primings of the Connecticut Shade tobacco plant.  

The wrapper is combined with the first and second primings of Mexican San Andreas tobacco which is used as the binder, and features a blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Mexican tobaccos.  Macanudo Gold Label is produced at General Cigar Dominicana.
