Gran Habano announces the release of the Persian King Type-Mod 60, the brand’s first release of the year. The Type-Mod 60 is a 6 x 60, is a Nicaraguan puro with a pyramid on one end and tapered on the other, allowing the smoker to choose where to start.ย ย ย
The Persian King Type-Mod 60 goes for $7.60 and ships in 50-count boxes. It is manufactured at the Gran Habano factory in Honduras and will be available for shipping to retailers nationwide in May.
Gran Habano also announces Ryan Bathurst is now northeast territory manager, representing the brand for retailers in New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, Delaware, and the eastern Pennsylvania region.
With over 10 years in luxury retail sales at Davidoff of Geneva, Nat Sherman International, andย Cigarz on the Avenue, Ryan brings experience in both back and front house operations withย maintaining and growing client relations.ย
Due to theย pandemic, the unexpected hiatus allowed for a pause for Gran Habano to reflect on where the company wanted to goย next, granting George Rico the space and creativity to quietly work on a few of the projects that will be released laterย this year. The first release to be announced for 2022 is the Persian King Type-Mod 60, a cigar certain to excite loyalย fans of the unbanded Persian King and Persian Queen. The Type-Mod 60 cigar is a very distinctive 6 x 60 pyramidย styled cigar on one end and tapered on the other, therefore the smoker can choose where they want to smoke it. It isย made with 100% Nicaraguan tobacco from their own farms.ย
The highly praised Persian King cigar with the unique Connecticut twisted foot was first released over a decade ago, followed by the Persian King Maduro, a Nicaraguan puro with a sun-grown wrapper, and the barber pole Persian Queen Limitada in the Fall of 2020.
