Drew Estate is broadening the reach of its Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo, making it a regular production cigar and available to Drew Diplomat program participants both individual and retail.
The upshot is that if you have in the past treasured the Liga Privada H99 as a rare treat, it will become easier to indulge.
Liga Privada cigars have limited production capacity due to the rarity of the tobacco leaves used in each of the offerings, including capa leaves from the Connecticut River Valley that are the centerpiece for each Liga Privada expression. This has been especially true for Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo, as just one Connecticut River Valley farmer cultivates Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo’s capa leaf, which is a hybrid derived from stalk-cut Habano and Connecticut Corojo tobaccos grown exclusively for Drew Estate.
Since introducing Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo in 2018, Drew Estate has periodically released it in small batches due to the rarity of the capa leaf. But Drew Estate planted more H99 hybrid tobacco every growing season.
The 6 x 52 Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo is packaged in 24-count boxes with a retail of $382.80/box and $15.95/cigar.
