United Cigars announces the release of the Garofalo La Famiglia cigar line, a collaboration between New England retailer David Garofalo and Nick Perdomo, Jr., president of Perdomo Cigars.
The Garofalo La Famiglia cigar line includes three blends and uses a custom blend of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos grown on Perdomo’s famed farms in the Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa Valley regions in Nicaragua.
The Garofalo La Famiglia Connecticut blend is a mild to medium bodied smoke featuring an Ecuadorian Connecticut-shade wrapper. The Garofalo La Famiglia Sun Grown is a medium bodied smoke with a Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper. The Garofalo La Famiglia Maduro is a medium to full-bodied smoke featuring a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper.
Packaged in 24-count boxes, the Garofalo La Famiglia cigars are available in the following five sizes: 5 x 54 Robusto, 6 x 54 Epicure, 6.5 x 54 Torpedo, 6 x 60 Gordo and a 7 x 54 Churchill. Suggested retail prices run from $10.00 to $13.00 per cigar.
The cigars will begin shipping to retailers in January.
