Partagas “Cortado,” the brand’s first Connecticut Shade-wrapped offering, has begun shipping to retailers. The four-cigar collection is produced at STG Esteli in Nicaragua, and is wrapped in an Ecuadorian-grown Connecticut Shade wrapper, with Indonesian binder over Honduran Jamastran, San Andres tobacco from Mexico and Condega and Jalapa tobaccos from Nicaragua.
The Cortado comes in a 5.5 x 42 Corona ($6.39), a 5 x 50 Robusto ($7.19), a 6 x 52 Toro ($7.59) and an 8 x 54 Presidente ($8.99)
Cortado is presented in wooden wrap-set boxes, with the Presidente in 10-count boxes and the rest in 20-count boxes.
“With interest in the Partagas brand continuing to grow, we felt it was the right time to expand the brand portfolio with a mellow-to-medium-bodied blend,” Matt Wilson, senior brand manager for Partagas said in a press release. “The team and I are especially proud of Partagas Cortado’s incredible versatility when it comes to pairing. We feel our Nicaraguan artisans did a wonderful job with the blend…”
Partagas Cortado is distributed by The Forged Cigar Company.
