Alec Bradley Cigar Company will bring back the Black Market Filthy Hooligan Barber Pole and Black Market Filthy Hooligan Shamrock cigars in the spring, marking the tenth release of the Filthy Hooligan project.
The Filthy Hooligan Barber Pole, features Nicaraguan Habano and Candela dual wrappers and the triple wrapped Filthy Hooligan Shamrock showcases Nicaraguan Habano, maduro Nicaraguan Habano and Candela wrappers.
The Barber Pole and Shamrock are both 6 x 50 Toro-sized cigars. Outside of their respective wrappers, they both share the same interior blend: Sumatra binder, with Panamanian and Honduran filler tobaccos.
The Black Market Filthy Hooligan Barber Pole comes in a green and black striped 24-count box, with retail per stick at $11.15.
The Black Market Filthy Hooligan Shamrock comes in a 10-count grey box, featuring a large shamrock on the top of the lid at $13.25 a cigar. Prices are domestic.
Filthy Hooligan cigars are being produced at Tobacos De Oriente in Danli, Honduras and will ship in February.
Alec Bradley has secured aged Candela wrapper from Nicaragua to keep limited quantities of the Hooligans available for 2022. With the increasing popularity and consumption of the green wrapper in European markets, aged Candela is becoming difficult to source. Alec Bradley is limiting the upcoming release of Filthy Hooligan Barber Pole to 2000 boxes, or 48,000 cigars, and 1500 boxes of Filthy Hooligan Shamrock, or 15,000 cigars.
