French cigar accessory maker LES FINES LAMES is launching a new flag design for its cigar cutters, with the LE PETIT FLAG Series, which features printed handles in the flag colors of a specific cigar country. The first cigar country to be featured is Cuba, with both light and dark wood versions.
LE PETIT cigar cutters are friction folder knives. Small like a pocket knife, the 4.5 inch by 2.5 inch devices feature a non lockable stainless steel blade and a razor-sharp cutting edge.
The brand is also adding Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic to its regarded LE PETIT COMPASS Series. Both editions feature antique maps of the countries engraved on the blade, as well as their coat of arms. They are available in olive wood, padauk and ebony. A specific wood has been added for each country: Acacia burl for Nicaragua and Kingwood for Dominican Republic. As an easily transportable cigar cutter, the curved shape of its blade and the opening in its handle make it able to cut through cigars up to 70 gauge.
