Cigars International has cancelled CIGARfest 2021, scheduled for October 15-16, citing health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus. Cigars International will refund all event tickets by the end of August.
“We found ourselves once again faced with a difficult decision relative to CIGARfest,” Sarah Santos, president of Cigars International said in a statement. “Given that the CDC recommends wearing masks indoors in high transmission areas, which is impractical for a cigar event, we unfortunately saw no other option than to cancel CIGARfest this year.” Ticket holders will receive refunds through Eventbrite, the ticketing platform used for the event. CI Nation customers who purchased CIGARfest tickets with cash will be contacted by Cigars International’s customer service team to process their refunds.
